The Lamb and the Scroll

In this part of John's vision, we see the slain Lamb approach the throne to take the scroll and open it. The scroll represents God's judgment on Israel for their unfaithfulness, and his taking of a new bride, the church. The worship in heaven exalts Jesus for his work of redemption on the cross.
